Mentorship and Programmes

Background

Our country has gone through a difficult time and this has affected every pillar of our society and livelihood, especially our socio-economic status. Some research has shown that the state of a countries economy is determined by the health or state of their people and businesses they run. Zimbabwe has suffered from brain drain we have lost a lot of human capital capable to developing our country to the next level. However our academic institutions annually churn graduates and some of them have made into a good professional career or entrepreneurial initiative with a large majority still unemployed. Continuous self and professional development has taken a backseat as the resources to facilitate it are stretched or unavailable. This where Mentorship fills the gap it provides a platform for individuals to share experiences, resources, building and developing each other, ultimately our organisations, economy and society. It produces a platform to teach each other learning from failures and successes and availing the relevant networks to create profitable synergies. Micah foundation found key for personal development and we have developed a comprehensive programme supported by practical experience and academic research. We believe a human being who is personally empowered, satisfied and happy will make a good employee, entrepreneur and ultimately a responsible good citizen.
